At OPT our focus is on mindfulness. We practice it. We teach it.
Firstly, we are mindful of your body. Before we start you on any exercise program we will perform a full postural assessment. This is important to show how your muscles and joints are working together and if there are any imbalances that need to be corrected before we start training you.
We also help you to build mindfulness techniques into your training and every day life. This can be as simple as helping you bring proper breathing, technique and awareness into your training or teaching you about mindful eating in order to align your diet with your goals and help you achieve peace with your eating habits.
For anyone who wants to take it to the next level, we offer meditation sessions and more in depth mindfulness coaching, which can be as part of a separate mindfulness program or incorporated into your fitness training sessions.
